Institution: Rangaraya Medical College was established in 1958 by the generous donation of M.V.R.Memorial Educational Trust in the memory of late Sri Pendyala Sree Ramachandra Venkata Krishna Rao of Dommeru on whose behalf a major donation of 5 lakhs was made by Mullapudi Venkata Rayudu Memorial Educational Trust. The valiant efforts of col.Dr.D.S.Raju,Dr.M.V.Krishna Rao, Dr.P.V.N.RAJU, Dr.Peri Shastri. The college was inaugurated by late sri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy Garu the then honourable chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. The state Government took over this institution in 1977. This institution has shown a phenomenal progress in the last few decades which few among younger colleagues in India and abroad can claim the credit. It is not the exaggeration to say that its alumni are already occupying chairs of selection by dint of merit in the competitive fields all over the globe Great personalities like Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishna & Smt.Susila Nair bestowed their blessing on this institution.

Date & time: 30th September 2010 at 3pm General Rules
1. A team will consist of 3 members (only undergraduates are allowed and not more than 1 intern/CRI/PG per team)
2. There is no restriction on number of teams from a college.
3. The answers for the preliminary round questions will be announced. However, the organizing committee will not entertain any queries regarding the scores or other detains of the written prelims.
4. The rules for the various rounds of the semi final and finals will be announced at the time.
5. All the participants will receive a certificate of participation. The semi-finalists and finalists will receive an honorary certificate. The first three teams will receive prizes. Prizes will be given to the audience for the questions directed to them.
6. Arguments with the quiz master will not be entertained. The decision of the quiz master will be final. 7. A team may be denied participation in case of unruly behavior by the members.
1. Each participant must bring his/her college identity card.
2. The team captain should register the names of the participants at the reception, upon arrival, before 10.00am.
3. The event registration fee of Rs 100/- must be paid in cash at the registration desk.

NEXUS SPREEN Registrations for the events can be done by phone to the contacts on or before 28th September 2010 or at the sports desk in the reception on or before 6pm 29th September 2010.No registrations shall be accepted after the stipulated time. GENERAL RULES:
1. All the participants must possess their NEXUS delegate cards to participate in any of the events. Participants without the delegate cards will not be allowed to premises or grounds or courts.
2. Identity cards duly signed by the principal or dean of the respective institutions must be produced by the individual participants at the time of registration.
3.Any team consisting of a player who is not a bonafide student of that institution will be summarily disqualified from all events he/she is participating in, and the head of institution will be informed of the same. The team will be banned from participating in NEXUS.
4. All the events are governed by the rules and regulations of the All India Federal Associations.
5. A maximum of 1 team is allowed per college
6. The Spreen Committee’s decision is final.
7. The Spreen Committee decides the fixtures, venues and timings at 3.pm on 30th Sept.
8. Matches will be played on knock out basis.
9. Under unforeseen circumstances, the fixtures committee can make changes in the venue and timings. The teams will be informed of such changes in advance.
10. The fixtures for the next day’s matches will be put up on the notice board the previous night itself. It is the duty of the manager/captain of the team to get the fixtures or the intimation slip from the sports desk at reception.
11. No request for changes in the fixtures because of players involved in more than two events will be entertained.
12. No request for the changes in the venue or timings will be entertained once the committee has decided them.
13. Teams are requested to report 30 minutes before the start of the match at allotted venues.
14. A walkover will be awarded to the opposition if a team fails to arrive at the venue within 15 minutes of the scheduled start of the match.
15. Any team giving walkover will be disqualified from participating further in any event in NEXUS.
16. Only the captain of the team is entitled to communicate to the Spreen Committee.
NEXUS KNACK General rules:-
1. Registrations for the event are to be made at the venue of the event or at knack desk in the reception.
2. Participations are requested to be at the venue at least 15 minutes in advance along with material.
3. “Explicit” vulgarity in any form is strictly prohibited and may warrant disqualification.
4. The decision of the knack Committee, wherever applicable, is final.
5. Participants are requested to adhere to the specified time limits for all the events.
6. Registration for the events can be done by phone to the contacts given on or before 30th September.
1. The teams should register at the cultural desk in the NEXUS reception on the scheduled date of the event three hours before the scheduled time of start of the events. Registrations made thereafter will be entertained subject to the number of teams and time available. All decisions in this regard will be made by the Cultural Secretary and it will be final.
2. The first team must be ready at least half an hour before the scheduled time of beginning of the event. Other teams must be ready backstage when the preceding team is on the stage. Not more than 2 teams will be allowed backstage at a time.
3. An official timekeeper will be there for all events. Timings are to be strictly followed. In case any team exceeds the time limit on stage, it will be given negative points.
4. The participants shall not question the decision of the judges.
5. Time, date and rules of the events can be changed as per circumstances and the Cultural Secretary’s decision will be final.
6. All participants must possess their NEXUS delegate cards to participate in any of the events. Participants without the delegate cards will not be allowed backstage.
7. Any event can be cancelled in case of lack of sufficient participation.
8. Any number of teams from each college is allowed in any event, if time permits. Any decision in this regard will be made by Cultural Secretary and it will be considered final. But there should be no common members between teams and the teams should have entirely different participants.
9. Teams will be penalized for any damage to the stage/equipment.
10. Fire should not be used on the stage.

2 passport size photos, towards issuing of delegate cards. 2. A letter of approval from the head of the institution must be produced, carrying the names of all the members of the contingent and indicating the captain/manager.
3. The team captain should register the names of the participants at the reception, upon arrival.
4. The Registration fee and Accommodation fee must be paid in cash at reception.
5. A team may be denied participation in case of unruly behavior by the members.
6. Organizers reserve the right to cancel any event or prize.
7. Vulgarity is strictly prohibited.
8. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Any student found in possession of or found consuming liquor on campus/accommodation or detected to have consumed alcohol will be summarily disqualified from all the events he/she is participating in and will be asked to vacate the campus & accommodation immediately.
Registration & Accommodation
1. A mandatory Registration fee of Rs 50/- per head has to be paid at the time of registration.
2. Accommodation fee of Rs 30/- will be charged per head per day for those who need accommodation.
3. Mats & buckets will be provided. Participants are responsible returning the same in good condition.
4. Please confirm your participation and the number of delegates expected to attend (who will need
accommodation) by phone to accommodation committee before 27th September 2010. After that
accomodation will be provided subject to availability.
